Quilted Ornament Kits

Quilted keepsake ornaments will be beautiful on your Christmas tree or given as a special gift during the holidays. They are also wonderful for all special occasions or just to enjoy! You will be amazed at how much fun and easy they are to make. They are created on a 3" Styrofoam ball using around 250 flat head straight pins, but they look hand sewn. The ideas and possibilities in creating these ornaments are just endless!

Some of the ornaments on my website are made using all cotton fabric and others are created using 1 1/2" to 2 1/2" wide ribbon. In a few of the kits, I have combined fabric for the printed layers and ribbon for the solid layers. I use the finest high quality fabrics and ribbons available for each kit. When the ribbon I use is a wired ribbon, I remove all wire before cutting each kit.

Each Kit Includes:

Pre-Cut fabric and/or ribbon, including the band.

Ribbon for the bows and hanger, including the decorative pin to hold the hanger.

Any special instructions, if needed, plus charm is included if offered with the ornament.

This kit does NOT include the 32-page quilted ornament pattern booklet. The pattern must be purchased separately.

Remember...if you order 5 or more ornament kits, don't order the pattern. I will send you the pattern for FREE! If you already have the pattern, for every 5 kits that you order, I will send you a FREE kit. Order 10 kits and you will receive 2 FREE kits of your choice. Just leave me a message in the drop-down "message box" in your PayPal check-out or send me an email and tell me what FREE kits you would like to have!

To complete each ornament, you will need to purchase the flat head straight pins and 3" Styrofoam ball. These balls are only sold in packages of 6 for around $4.99, so I like to use coupons when available. You can find Styrofoam balls at any local fabric or craft store or online on websites such as eBay. When using Styrofoam, I like to use pins that are 1 1/16" long.

Another type of 3" ball that can be used is called "Smoothfoam." This is a solid ball, where as the styrofoam is a more "airy" type of ball. The smoothfoam ball has a hole on one end of the ball that measures about 1/4" wide and 1/4" deep. Because the smoothfoam ball is solid, you will need to use flat head straight pins that are 3/4" to 1" long, for ease in placing the pins. These balls can be purchased at your local craft store or online.

You will also find throughout the website, some ornaments created using "Smoothfoam" shapes. These shapes include hearts and eggs. These special kits I purchase from my friend and talented ornament artist, Darlene Anderson. The price of these kits cost more, because each kit not only includes the pre-cut fabrics with ribbon and decorative pin, but a special pattern that teaches how to make just that ornament and the "Smoothfoam" shape needed to complete the ornament.
